I focus on overlooked details of the surrounding environment, exploring how ordinary objects, spaces and moments can become carriers of memory and personal stories.
I work with photography, video, graphic arts, embroidery and material practices. For me, these mediums are not only ways of documenting reality, but also tools for conveying a state — my own or one experienced by another person.
An important part of my practice is my relationship with place. I explore how a sense of belonging is formed through observation, everyday encounters and the accumulation of personal connections with the environment.
Through attentive observation and work with materials, I investigate presence, memory and the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit.
